-
Do not use the light if any of the following occur:
- The bulb holder, switch or mains plug is damaged in any way.
- The connecting cable is damaged.
- Lights with metal bulb holders must be earthed at all times.

When inserting or removing the light bulb always grip the bulb holder immediately under the bulb
to stop it turning, do not overtighten the bulb.
- Do not place undue stress on the cable.
- Never cover the light base or shade.
- If the fuse in the mains plug blows a 3A replacement must be fitted.
-

is recommended that low energy LED-type bulbs are fitted
- Position the light on a flat, level surface.
- If in any doubt always consult a qualified electrician.
Location
The light is designed for use in an indoor location away from areas with high humidity and heat. Do not
place the light in kitchens or bathrooms.
Avoid positioning in direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight can cause certain wood grain
to fade or darken and the natural fibres in the lampshade to fade.
Cleaning
Always switch the light off and unplug from the mains supply before cleaning. Clean with a soft dry cloth only.
Never use cleaning agents, these can damage the lampshade and the surface of the wood.
